بِسْمِ اللهِ الرَّحْمٰنِ الرَّحِيْمِ

Transliteration: Allahumma innaka ‘afuwwun tuhibbul ‘afwa fa’fu ‘anni

O Allah, You are forgiving and love forgiveness, so forgive me. 

2. Dua for Guidance, Mercy, and Good in this Life and the Next

Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan waqina ‘adhaban-nar

Transliteration: Rabbana atina fid-dunya hasanatan wa fil-akhirati hasanatan waqina ‘adhaban-nar

Our Lord, give us in this world [that which is] good and in the Hereafter [that which is] good and protect us from the punishment of the Fire.

3. Dua for Forgiveness and Accepted Deeds

Astaghfirullah al-‘azim alladhi la ilaha illa Huwa, Al-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilayh

Transliteration: Astaghfirullah al-‘azim alladhi la ilaha illa Huwa, Al-Hayyul-Qayyum wa atubu ilayh

I seek the forgiveness of Allah the Mighty, Whom there is none worthy of worship except Him, the Living, the Eternal, and I repent unto Him.

4. Dua for Strength, Patience, and Detachment from Dunyaa (Worldly Attachments)

Allahumma inni as’aluka sabran jamila

Transliteration: Allahumma inni as’aluka sabran jamila, wa shukran ‘ala ni’matika, wa husna ‘ibadatika, wa anfa’ni bima ‘allamtani wa ‘allamni ma yanfa’uni wa zidni ‘ilma

O Allah, I ask You for beautiful patience, gratitude for Your blessings, excellence in worship, and benefit me with what You have taught me, and teach me that which will benefit me, and grant me knowledge which will benefit me.

5. Dua for Protection from Hellfire and Calamity

Allahumma ajirni minan-nar wa min kulli baliyyah

Transliteration: Allahumma ajirni minan-nar wa min kulli baliyyah

O Allah, protect me from the Fire and from every calamity.

6. Dua for Our Brothers and Sisters in Palestine and All Believers

Allahumma ihfaz ikhwanana fi Falasteen wa fi kulli makaan

Transliteration: Allahumma ihfaz ikhwanana fi Falasteen wa fi kulli makaan, wa rahmataka ya arhamar rahimeen

O Allah, protect our brothers and sisters in Palestine and everywhere, and bestow Your mercy, O Most Merciful of the merciful.
