Zahidah, drawing from her deep respect for Fatima Al-Fihri, the founder of the world’s oldest university, Al-Qarawiyyin, emphasizes the importance of education and resilience. 

Fatima Al-Fihri is renowned as the founder of the University of Al-Qarawiyyin, often considered the oldest existing university in the world. Born in the 9th century in present-day Morocco, Fatima’s vision and commitment to education transformed the landscape of Islamic scholarship and learning.

Established in the city of Fes, Morocco, Al-Qarawiyyin University became a center of intellectual excellence and cultural exchange, attracting scholars from across the Muslim world and beyond.
