As a Muslim, we believe that the Holy Quran is a source of divine blessing and merit, tranquillity, and guidance for all mankind. The Quran is believed to sanctify the heart and home of the Muslim because it\u2019s based on the words of Allah (SWT). In Quran, Allah has laid down solution of every human problem.\u00a0<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n Reflecting upon the verses of Quran is a form of worship and it is something that will draw us closer to Allah. Even just by reading it, reciting, memorizing, or just possessing a copy of the Quran in our home, will make us more relieved because Quran is a source of rest and relaxation for the heart. Allah will give great rewards too for reading, reciting the Quran, and implementing it in our daily life routine.<\/p>\n There are so many benefits of reading Quran. Besides religious benefits in the form of rewards, these are the other benefits and blessings of Quran.<\/p>\n Indeed, the number of months with Allah is twelve [lunar] months in the register of Allah [from] the day He created the heavens and the earth; of these, four are sacred. That is the correct religion, so do not wrong yourselves during them. And fight against the disbelievers collectively as they fight against you collectively. And know that Allah is with the righteous [who fear Him]. <\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n [At-Tawbah 9:36]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Reading Quran affects the heart and purifies it by cleaning it from all the impurities.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n O mankind, there has to come to you instruction from your Lord and healing for what is in the breasts and guidance and mercy for the believers.<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n [Yunus 10:57]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n The chapter of the Quran will argue on your behalf in the grave.<\/p>\n Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa said,<\/p>\n \u201cRead the Quran, for indeed it will come on the Day of Standing (Judgment) as an intercessor for its companions.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n Narrated by Muslim<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Messenger of Allah \ufdfa said,<\/p>\n \u201cWhoever reads a letter from the Book of Allah, he will have a reward. And that reward will be multiplied by ten. I am not saying that \u201cAlif, Laam, Meem\u201d is a letter, rather I am saying that \u201cAlif\u201d is a letter, \u201claam\u201d is a letter and \u201cmeem\u201d is a letter.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n [At-Tirmidhi]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Therefore, can you imagine how many rewards you can gain for every letter you recite the Quran daily?<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n Not only will be in the company of those angels, even when we are still trying hard and doing extra effort to learn and recite Quran for pleasing Allah, we will get the double reward. Both in this life and the hereafter.<\/p>\n Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa said,<\/p>\n \u201cVerily the one who recites the Quran beautifully, smoothly, and precisely, he will be in the company of the noble and obedient angels. And as for the one who recites with difficulty, stammering or stumbling through its verses, then he will have TWICE that reward.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n <\/p>\n [Al-Bukhari and Muslim]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n Our position in Paradise is determined by the amount of Quran we memorize and act upon it in daily life. Allah will reward and honour us greatly for that. We will rise in status in Paradise to a level commensurate with what we memorized of the Book of Allah.<\/p>\n Prophet Muhammad \ufdfa said,<\/p>\n \u201cIt will be said to the companion of the Quran: Read and elevate (through the levels of the Paradise) and beautify your voice as you used to do when you were in the dunya! For verily, your position in the Paradise will be at the last verse you recite!\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n [Al-Tirmidhi and Abu Dawood]<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n With those benefits, we all want to read Quran regularly, recite it beautifully, learning the rules of tajweed, and learning about its tafseer.
