Tips to Maintain A Tahajjud Routine

by Muslim Pro

Tahajjud is a non-obligatory prayer which one should pray in the later part of the night after getting some sleep.

The Lord descends every night to the lowest heaven when one-third of the night remains and says: ‘Who will call upon Me, that I may answer Him? Who will ask of Me, that I may give him? Who will seek My forgiveness that I may forgive him?’

(Bukhari, Muslim)

”The Dua made at tahajjud is like an arrow that does not miss its target.” – Imam Ash Shafi (RA)

I go to bed at 10pm, wake up 30 minutes before Fajar prayer and pray Tahajjud prayer, do Zikr, then pray Fajr. This is my routine. It was little difficult at the beginning. Now I am used to it. Alhamdullilah.
